Description
Emerges yellow with a few medium green streaks and turning green about two weeks later. That is why I named the hosta Spring Sunrise, as the true dramatic beauty is short lived. This is a sport from H War Paint, which lost the dark green coloring. Thus, caused it to be much brighter than War Paint. Pale lavender flowers bloom in early July. Matures 16 inches tall and 30 inches wide. A Hostas-Store original. Zones 3-9.
