Outer Limits Hosta

Description

A sport of Striptease. I personally love all sports of Striptease! Highly variable changing foliage colors. Changing throughout the season. Spring colors white or gray in the center with a gold to pale green margin. Midsummer colors gold in the center with a margin that is medium green and at times inconsistent white streaks and mottle areas. Forms a medium size mound of ovate shaped leaves and slightly corrugated. Lavender flowers bloom from mid July to early August. Matures about 13 inches tall and about 32 inches wide. Zones 3-9.

Note: Original registered ‘Hosta Outer Limits’ was described as more of a streaked version. Looks as if most hostas being sold look like my photo shows. This seems to be the new stable version that is accepted.
