A open pollinated seedling of hosta Vivacious. This hosta has more light colored streaks and grows slightly smaller than its pod parent. Green, white, and creamy-yellow streaks with moderately rippled margins held on red petioles. Pale purple flowers top the clump in mid summer. Matures at 15 inches high and 27 inches wide. A Hostas-Store original. Zones 3-9.
NOTE: Normally I would never register a streaked seedling that has the same similar streaked coloring. Or the hosta market will be flooded with similar streaked seedlings. In this case, one particular streaked seedling out of many streaked seedlings stuck out like a sore thumb. It was much more evenly streaked. Meaning more colorful in general. Most likely self pollinated. It is a known fact all hostas grown from seed has different DNA and is a unique one of a kind. And just the fact this 3 color hosta also has red petioles and red flower scapes. It should prove in time to be a good breeder. So it needed a proper name.
