Bullfrog Hosta (single eye and 6 inch high plant being sold)

Description

Variegated sport of the classic, upright, bluish-gray leaves of ‘Hosta Krossa Regal’ Margins width vary of bluish tissue. Sometimes with narrow white streaks. Leaf center is none-defined. Predominately white tissue randomly streaked with long, broad and narrow, mostly bluish tissue. Leaves are twisted. Each leaf looks different. Flowers? Matures 13 inches tall and 20 inches wide. Very rare and expensive hosta. Zones 3-9.

First photo shows mature plant. 3rd and 4th photo is EXACT hosta plant you will receive. Read again information listed above about how each individual leaf can vary. My personal opinion is this plant is a beauty true Bullfrog. Look at the photo closely before final purchase.

Note: This hosta is a tough one to grow. Grows very slow. Supply and demand creates the value. You as the buyers set the price. I work very hard growing difficult hostas that barely multiply. I will list at least two more this year when they are large enough to sell. First come, first serve. If they sell fast, a person will have to check back often. This is also true of my other rare varieties. I do not even know when I can sell them. I specialize in rare and unusual varieties and Strip Tease family of hostas. And I also keep the old time favorite classics available, and sometimes at a low to very low price. Growth rate and weather damage is the main reason. Or I must be sure the plant listed is true (not reverting).
