Description
Dark green leaves with various streaks of white and gold. Leaves lightly wavy and of thick substance. Forms a vase shaped mound. Purple flowers in summer. Matures 12 inches high and 18 inches wide. A Hostas-Store original. O.P. Seedling from H. Kiwi Highlights. Zones 3-9.
SPECIAL NOTE: Kiwi Highlights, I believe the pollen parent is H. Javelin. Because my Javelin flowers the same time. Kiwi Highlights does not have a thick stiff leaf. Javelin does. Kiwi Highlights has a green seed pod and scape. Javelin has a purple seed pod and scape. Vibrant has the same purple coloring in scape and pods. I originally was not going to register this plant until I noticed the thick leaf. I am hoping this will be a good plant to breed from.
