Second Wind Hosta

Description

A very dark green, heavy texture, all green sport of Whirlwind. Even though this hosta is considered a sport from tissue culture, there is little resemblance to Whirlwind. Tissue culture labs and chemicals used can do strange things to hostas. The leaves are rounded and a bit cupped. Dark green leathery leaves. Lavender, flared, striped flowers in late summer. Matures 23 inches tall and 47 wide. Zones 3-9.
