Poseidon Hosta

Description

Glossy green leaves with bright white margins. Early spring the margins are yellow, turning white. One of the plantaginea family of hostas known for the fragrant double flowers. The fragrant double white flowers bloom in late summer. Allow more sunlight and more water for this variety. Plus this variety likes heat and a long growing season, making it more difficult to grow or keep alive in the northern coldest states. I grow Plantaginea family of hostas in southern Minnesota and have lost or damaged some plants due to harsh cold winters. Matures 20 inches tall and 45 inches wide. Zones 3-9.
