Description
Tetraploid form of ‘Lonesome Dove’. A simple definition for tetraploid means thicker leaves and a better grower. But the plant itself grows a little smaller for mature size. Thick cupped leaves have a white center and very wide blue-green border. Like Lonesome Dove, this one is also a slow grower, but worth the wait. Lonesome Dove, I have found to be a hosta that grows so darn slow, it almost shows no change each year. This one should grow a little better. Lavender flowers top the clump. Matures 9 inches tall and 17 inches wide. Zones 3-9.
